Many people gave many hours to create interesting, interactive exhibits for Decatur Day. Fair goers enjoyed themselves as they learned something new at the exhibits, fished in the "pond", petted the zoo animals, sharpened their putting skills or enjoyed the entertainment. Everyone walked away with a gift after spinning the prize wheel. |

Red Bird Rookies
Redbird Rookies, presented locally by the Decatur Park District, Decatur Memorial Hospital, and Dr. Wendell Becton, is a free baseball league for boys and girls who have no prior experience playing ball. The St. Louis Cardinals Care program provides the uniforms, gloves, bats, balls, and other equipment, as well as extensive off-field support in the areas of education, the arts, mentoring, and health. |

Scovill Park and Zoo
