Lakeside Music and Arts Festival "Red, White and Blues"
Nelson Park - Lake Decatur
200 Nelson Blvd.
This event spotlights the best in art, music and culinary delights. Highlighted this year will be red and white wines, and blues music. Artisans from all over the state display pieces ranging from glass, photography, pottery/ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, painting and mixed media art, all showcased along the boardwalk of Lake Decatur. Also included is an eclectic mix of live music performed on the event's numerous stages. Children's activities and interactive displays and demonstrations provide something for the whole family to enjoy. Art booth hours Saturday 11am - 8pm & Sunday 11am - 4pm. On Saturday, fireworks at dusk, with music and food continuing until 10 pm. Decatur Park Singers perform at 5:00 pm on Saturday.

Pack up your lawn chairs and picnic baskets and gather your family or friends at the park like setting of Long Creek Vineyards for a celebration of our independence. Play horseshoes, yard darts or croquet, enjoy wine beer and an array of non alcoholic beverages. You can even bring a fishing pole for the kids and let them try their hand at catching a blue gill or two. (Fishing for the kids only (16 or under) please, and kids must be accompanied by an adult).
