This event provides Decatur and surrounding communities the opportunity to meet 2010 Winter Olympics gold medalist, Aaric Kendall; to see his gold medal; to watch him carve an ice
sculpture; to receive an original, autographed photo; and enter for a chance to win a $1,000 FLORA GEMS gift certificate. Aaric Kendall is an Argenta, IL native, professional ice sculptor and 2010 Winter Olympic gold medalist. After completing the ice sculpture, Mr. Kendall will sign autographs inside the FLORA GEMS store. Photographs for signing will be supplied to visitors during the event.

This exhibit will feature U.S. Navy WWII battleship models, photos, artifacts, historical background information, and copies of WWII Navy recruiting posters. The exhibit will exploe the U.S. Navy's role in fighting for victory for the country after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Open Tuesday-Saturday and every 4th Sunday.

Presented by Track Enterprises and Macon Speedway - all race cars of any type will be on display in the parking lot of the museum. Car Show is free for spectators. In the evening, "Heartache Tonight" Eagles tribute band (Live), there will be a $5.00 per person charge if they have a car registered in the show or $10.00 per person without a car registered in the show. All proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer and all monies will stay in Decatur for cancer treatment and cancer care.

The 2nd annual fundraising dinner for Richland's Culinary Arts Program will feature a movie theme. Tables will be decorated with movie themes (e.g. Breakfast at Tiffany's, Driving Miss Daisy, Mash, Christmas Story, Gone with the Wind, and many more). The Culinary Arts students and Chef Klink will delight your palates with foods prepared from movies such as Breakfast Club, Chocolat, Jaws, Julie and Julia, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, and City Slickers. In addition, there will be a candy concession for those with a sweet tooth as you enjoy movie clips and several students dressed in character. Please come and walk the red carpet and enjoy an evening of fun, experience different cuisines, and great entertainment. Cocktails at 6:30 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m. Admission Fee: $100 per person
